The 2008 New Hampshire Survey Group Benchmark Survey is underway and the input deadline has been extended to July 31.
This web page provides information and input forms for the survey.
What Files You Need
The files you need for survey participation are “zipped” into one file to save download time. You will need to “unzip” them into your documents file on your PC. See instructions below.
- NHSG2008_Instructions&JobDescriptions.pdf – Print and read this document prior to starting your survey input.
- NHSG2008_CompanyInfo.xls – This Excel file contains the questionnaire about your company pay policies and practices as well as your contact information.
- NHSG2008_JobData.xls – Use this Excel file to enter your company pay information for the jobs you match to the survey.
A note about the Excel files: These files contain macros, which were created to help you navigate easily from worksheet to worksheet. If you disable the macros, the input forms are usable, but the navigation buttons on the worksheets will not work. (Just click on the worksheet tabs to navigate.)
How to Obtain the Forms
Please download your input forms from this web page.
- Click on the link below to download the Zip file containing the input forms.
- Save the file NHSG2008_SurveyForms.zip to your hard drive.
- Unzip the file using a zip utility such as the one that comes with Windows. The zip file contains the three files shown above.
- Print and read the instruction guide, especially page 2 (Using the Excel Files to Input Your Company Information and Pay Data).
- Complete the input files, and email them to .
Note: Some firewalls block the downloading of files, so you may need to ask your IT Department for assistance.

. We hope you will make your best efforts to submit your data on time, so that we can issue the survey report on schedule.
The survey report will be published and distributed to participants in September.

About the New Hampshire Survey Group
The New Hampshire Survey Group is an association of employers dedicated to the exchange of compensation and benefits related information among its members. This is accomplished primarily through confidential surveys and luncheon meetings scheduled throughout the year.
The NHSG is open to all employers in New Hampshire who employ at least 50 full-time employees. The group has traditionally been composed of manufacturing companies, but other types of organizations are welcome to join. See our current member list.
